Our Mission Statement

The mission of Helping Hands is to assist the citizens of Hickman County, TN when they need assistance with day-to-day needs.

Helping Hands strives to give the citizens of Hickman County, TN a stable organization to rely on for assistance and to provide help to those recovering from disasters. We are a 501(c)3 charity that has been serving the needs of our community since 2005.

Every Thursday, from 9:30AM-1:00PM, we host a mobile food drive, open to all counties.

Hickman County residents that qualify can receive an In-House Food Pantry box every other month.

Hickman County residents that qualify may receive up to $100 on 1 utility bill every 12 calendar months.

Residents that qualify may receive help with clothing once a year.

Periodically, we host Special Food Trucks within our community, to give people the opportunity for more food. Check back often for details!

Whether its community service, TN Promise, college credit, homeschool credit, or you just have a heart to serve, we offer many different types of volunteer opportunities.
